About Free Solar U.S.
We're on a mission to make solar energy accessible and understandable for every American homeowner.
Our Story
Free Solar U.S. was founded on a simple belief: every homeowner should have access to clear, honest information about solar energy and the opportunity to connect with trusted installers in their area.
We noticed that many homeowners were confused by misleading "free solar panels" claims and struggled to understand the real costs and benefits of going solar. Some were intimidated by high-pressure sales tactics, while others simply didn't know where to start.
That's why we built Free Solar U.S. — a transparent resource that educates homeowners about solar financing options (loans, leases, and PPAs), connects them with vetted installers, and helps them make informed decisions without the pressure.
Our Values
Transparency First
We believe in clear, honest communication. No misleading claims about "free" solar — just straightforward information about $0-down financing options.
Homeowner Advocacy
Your interests come first. We educate homeowners so they can ask the right questions and make informed decisions about solar.
Quality Partnerships
We carefully vet our partner installers to ensure they're licensed, insured, and have a track record of quality installations and customer service.
Sustainability Impact
Every home that goes solar reduces carbon emissions and moves us closer to a cleaner energy future for all Americans.
