1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using freesolar.us.com ("the Site") and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Site or services.
2. Description of Service
Free Solar U.S. is an educational platform and lead generation service that:
- Provides information about solar energy financing options
- Offers a savings calculator to estimate potential solar benefits
- Connects homeowners with vetted solar installers in their area
- Provides state-specific information about incentives and programs
Important: We are not a solar installer, financing company, or contractor. We do not install solar panels, provide financing, or guarantee any specific savings or results.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal U.S. resident to use our services. By using our Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Quote Requests and Installer Matching
4.1 Consent to Contact
By submitting a quote request, you expressly consent to be contacted by Free Solar U.S. and our partner installers via phone (including automated calls or texts), email, or mail, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Standard message and data rates may apply.
4.2 Installer Independence
Partner installers are independent contractors. We do not employ, control, or supervise them. Any agreements, transactions, or disputes are solely between you and the installer. We are not responsible for installer actions, quotes, installations, warranties, or customer service.
4.3 No Guarantees
We do not guarantee that you will receive quotes, that installers will accept your project, or that quotes will match our calculator estimates. Actual savings, costs, and incentives depend on many factors beyond our control.
5. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of content on our Site. Solar incentives, tax credits, electricity rates, and regulations change frequently. Always verify information with qualified professionals, including tax advisors, contractors, and your utility company.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Free Solar U.S. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of our Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
